A smart board is a interactive whiteboard that is used in many classrooms.  With it's touch screen,  students and teachers are able to interact lesson activities with a smart board pen or their finger.  Like a projector, you have to connect your laptop on to the smart board to see images on the board.   I've seen instructors used it before and I thought it was really cool.  It actually made me as a student more interested in the lectures. It builds focus on children's attention because it increase a visual , auditory and interactive learning environment   Teachers  can also access internet and surf the web with their students without leaving the board making learning more flexible and dynamic.  It builds focus on children's attention because it increase a visual , auditory and interactive learning environment

The link below provides different ways to assess students' with special learning needs such as students with dyslexia, hearing impairment, mobility limitations, etc.
